A while back I was sent some data files from Seamap's GunLink system
http://www.seamap.com/products/seismic/gunlink/

The system itself looks very nice and quite capable.
Unfortunately, the way they decided to record data for offline QC is lets say unusual. They elected to use SEGD, the problem being that their data does not easily fit into the SEGD format. SEGD is a bad enough format as it is without further abuse!

But nothing is impossible.

SMGLV has been tested under Windows 7 and 10.
It should work on Windows 11 but I can't afford a W11 computer.

Updated to view other file variants and to decode and display the QC data in the external header

It is very easy to use. Simply open the files you want to look at, select the Channel Set and as you mouse over the main trace display, the Spectra of that trace will be shown in the top right panel, while the spectra of all traces in the channel set are displayed in the panel below it.
Display settings and scaling are easily accessible. Each channel set keeps it's own settings.
You can pick breaks, save the selected channel set to SEGY and output the display to a PFD file
Easy to configure
Spectra scales can be adjusted using the controls at the top left
Click 'Gun Info' as indicated to display the QC information from the External header. This is a toggle - click it again to display the graphics. Scroll down to see the other blocks.
